Timothy Hackworth Primary School

Welcome to Our School

Head Teacher: Mrs L. Boulton

I would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to you all and look forward to working with you and your children as Head Teacher of Timothy Hackworth Primary School.  It certainly is a privilege to be Head Teacher of our school, a school which I am certainly proud to be part of.

I look forward to welcoming you into our Rights Respecting school this year to celebrate your child's achievements, their love of learning, and to take part in Timothy Hackworth school life.

At Timothy Hackworth, we are keen for all of our children to be the very best that they can be!  We strive to ensure that our children experience success in a nurturing environment, to help them to understand that they make a positive difference to the world in which we all live, and to have high hopes and ambitions for themselves and for other people.  We believe that it is important to celebrate and share 'British Values' within our whole school community as part of our Rights Respecting Schools ethos.  We encourage our chidren to be unique, creative, open-minded and independent individuals, respectful of themselves and of others in our local community and our wider world.  We aim to guide and nurture our children so they can grow into safe, caring, democratic, responsible and tolerant young people and adults.  Thank you for sharing this important journey with us.

We have received our Level 2 Rights Respecting School Re-accreditation status from UNICEF, something of which we are all particularly proud.  We are extremely proud of our children and of our school as we are one of the few schools in the country to be granted this award.  Well done everyone at Timothy Hackworth!

Should you wish to contact me about our school, please do so using the details on our website.

With very best wishes,

Mrs. L. Boulton, Head Teacher
