Timothy Hackworth Primary School, and especially Mrs. Sharp, who has been preparing for spending time with our children in the school garden, would like to say a huge ” Thank You ” to Paula Nelson from Shildon Alive for organising a £50 donation towards plants to develop our gardening areas. This money was kindly donated to Shildon Alive by a local company called PPG as part of their community funding. We would also like to say “Thank You ” to all of the local gardeners who have donated their vegetable plants for the children currently in school to use as part of their learning about looking after plants and living things.
